Job Description

The Paramount is a 16-story mixed use high-rise located in downtown Orlando across the street from picturesque Lake Eola.  It features a 4th floor roof top pool and 313 units with beautiful features such as floor-to-ceiling windows or spacious balconies with views of downtown. 

The General Manager is the primary representative of management to the building residents, retail/commercial tenants, vendors, staff, and public.  They are directly responsible for the day to day operation of a the high rise asset, which may include any combination of residential, office and retail space as well as shared common areas (such as parking garages, retail patios and loading docks.) The General Manager is responsible for overall profitability, cost control, and upholding high quality standards to ensure all resident, tenant and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: preparation of annual budget, increasing NOI, management of all property staff, supervise scheduling of vendors and contractors, knowledge of residential and commercial operating procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in property management, with 3-5 years experience in a residential, mixed use high rise environment
  • Commercial or Retail management experience a plus
  • CAM license preferred, but not required
  • Hospitality management experience is a plus
  • Outstanding organization, communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to read and interpret commercial leases
  • Experience in managing/supervising a large staff/team
  • Strong Time Management skills
  • Financial, Budget planning, Project Management and multiple project experience is a must.
  • Ability to effectively advertise, market, lease and promote Northland and its communities to the general public
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with others
  • Knowledge and working experience with Windows applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to frequently walk the community in order to oversee all activities and areas of operation
